The iconic Clint Eastwood character lives on in an original series of novels by Joe Millard and, on occasion, Brian Fox.
Aside from the movie novelizations of the Eastwood/Sergio Leone “Man With No Name” Westerns, Award Books continued the character in a handful of other novels. Since there are no numbers on the book covers, I am uncertain where THE MILLION DOLLAR BLOODHUNT stands in the order of things. I can’t even be sure I’ve read this one. Even if I have, it’s been so long that reading it again would be like reading it for the first time.
Other “original” books in the “Man With No Name” series are:
A DOLLAR TO DIE FOR
A COFFIN FULL OF DOLLARS
BLOOD FOR A DIRTY DOLLAR
If anyone knows of other books not listed here, please let me know in the comments box.
Don’t look to read these books for any sense of realism; they are simply paeans to the romantic and enduring mythology of the Western Bounty Hunter.
